Here is some information about my original artist project Mike Mayfield:
Emerging on the London scene from the ‘W3 Jam Sessions’ now hosted at Ronnie Scott’s, Mike Mayfield was the lead singer and co-writer for the band that grew out of the those sessions Bassment Project, whose debut album included duets with Betty Wright and Rizzle Kicks. After this time and since producing and co-writing the debut album from the UK artist Jo Harman, Mike also released his debut EP ‘Hard Up’ and has been featured playing his own music in radio performances live on the Robert Elms and Gabby Roslin BBC Radio shows. In the last two years Mike supported Paloma Faith on a run of UK shows, Jo Harman on a run of Netherlands shows and is also included as a featured artist in the live album and theatre show 'Both Sides Now - Homage to the Songs of Joni Mitchell'. The album also showcases artists Rumer, Hamish Stuart, Jo Harman, Mim Grey and Jana Varga. Expect soulful vocals and loud guitars.
